Program Structure

  • In-Person Retreat

    Objectives include: Diving deep into trauma-informed practices to develop the skills needed for meaningful impact, building lasting relationships with peers and instructors for a strong support network, and receiving personalized, one-on-one guidance from experts to foster both personal and professional growth.

  • 12 Monthly Online Modules

    This program provides a comprehensive, structured learning experience covering understanding trauma, yoga, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, and the anatomy and physiology of trauma. Each module includes engaging video lectures, informative readings, interactive discussions, and reflective journaling, allowing for deep integration and real-world application of trauma-informed practices.

  • Monthly Live Sessions

    Engage in live practices, Q&A sessions, group discussions, and breakout sessions for an interactive learning experience. All sessions are recorded for flexible access, ensuring you never miss a moment.

  • Bi-Weekly Discussion Groups

    Join intimate group settings that foster deeper engagement and connection within a supportive network of peers. Share experiences, exchange insights, ask questions, and stay motivated through regular interaction and active participation.

  • Practical Teaching Experience

    Gain real-world teaching experience to refine your skills while receiving personalized guidance and feedback from experienced HLF instructors, ensuring you feel confident and prepared to lead trauma-informed practices.

As an HLF Certified Instructor, you’ll gain access to exclusive learning, mentorship, and a powerful network of trauma-informed leaders around the world.
